ADHD coaching through Access to Work
If ADHD makes work harder, you may be able to get ADHD coaching funded through Access to Work, a government scheme that helps people with a disability or health condition stay in work. The funding is a grant, so you don’t pay it back.
What coaching can help with at work
getting started and finishing tasks
managing time, deadlines and priorities
organising your workload and workspace
managing overwhelm, focus and energy
communicating your needs to your manager
Who can apply
Access to Work is available if you’re 16 or over, live and work in England, Scotland or Wales, and are employed, self-employed, or about to start a job. Your ADHD needs to make parts of your job, or getting to work, harder. You don’t need a formal diagnosis to apply, although having one can help your application.
How it works
Apply for Access to Work on the GOV.UK website.
An assessor talks with you about what support would help, and may recommend coaching.
If coaching is recommended, I can provide a quote for your sessions.
Once approved, we start working together, online or in person.
Why work with me
I’m a BABCP-accredited CBT therapist and ADHD coach with lived experience of ADHD. My coaching is practical, neurodiversity affirming and built around how your brain works.
