How I Can Help
People come to therapy for many different reasons. Some are facing a specific difficulty; others just know something doesn’t feel right. You don’t need a diagnosis or a clear label to ask for support.
I work with children, young people, families and adults, offering evidence-based therapy tailored to each person’s needs, pace and goals.
Not sure where you fit?
Many people experience more than one of the above, and that’s completely normal. We’ll take time in our first sessions to understand what’s going on and agree on the best way forward together.
If you’d like to talk things through or book an appointment, you’re very welcome to get in touch.
Types of support offered
Anxiety and panic
Anxiety can show up in many ways - constant worry, physical symptoms, panic attacks, avoidance or feeling on edge all the time. Together, we’ll work to understand what’s driving the anxiety and build practical tools to help you (or your child) feel safer, calmer and more in control.
Low mood or depression
Low mood can affect energy, motivation, confidence and enjoyment of everyday life. Therapy can help make sense of what’s going on, gently break unhelpful cycles, and support a return to feeling more like yourself.
OCD and intrusive thoughts
OCD can be frightening and exhausting, particularly when intrusive thoughts feel unwanted or distressing. I use evidence-based approaches, including ERP, to help reduce the grip OCD has on daily life and restore a sense of freedom and choice.
Emetophobia (fear of vomiting)
Emetophobia can significantly restrict day-to-day life, impacting eating, travel, school or social situations. With the right support, it is highly treatable. Therapy focuses on reducing avoidance, building confidence and helping you (or your child) regain independence.
Trauma and adverse experiences
Trauma can stem from many experiences, including single events or ongoing difficulties and its effects are often felt long after the event has passed. Therapy provides a safe, supportive space to process experiences at a manageable pace and develop a stronger sense of safety and stability.
ADHD and neurodivergent experiences
Living in a world not designed for neurodivergent minds can be exhausting. I offer affirming, practical support for children and adults with ADHD or other neurodivergent experiences, focusing on emotional regulation, self-understanding, confidence and coping strategies that work in real life.
Behavioural and emotional regulation
Strong emotions and challenging behaviours often signal unmet needs rather than “bad behaviour”. I support children and young people, and their parents, to understand emotional responses, develop regulation skills, and build calmer, more connected relationships.
Adult mental health
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and emotional difficulties, offering therapy that is practical, compassionate and grounded in evidence. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed or simply want better ways to cope, therapy can help create meaningful and lasting change.
